Junk after 2.5 seasons
These are very light duty machines. The first thing that happened is the idler pulley screw came out. Turns out it was a sheet metal screw. I replaced it with a real nut and bolt. At the end of the first season one of the blade bearing, housing and shaft disintigrated. Root cause of this was probably weak and unprotected bearings that failed then vibrated so much the housing disintegraed. Since then I have replace 3 shaft and pulley sets due to the pulleys rounding out on the shaft. These are light duty 12 star holes on 12 star shaft. The shaft gets destoyed when the pulleys round out. This is the situation I am in now. Each time this happens it cost $65 in parts. I have decided to junk the machine. Don't make the same mistake I did by getting a Husquvarna.
Weak transmission
After 2 years both the axles on the transmission have broken and the transmission is getting weak. I think what Husqvarna did was put as small a transmission they could to sell these cheaper and this is just a garden tractor with a lightweight transmission. Unless you have a nice flat lawn or small lawn I would not recommend this or any of the smaller tractors from any company that has a K46 transmission.
All I have used this for is mowing and not pulling any loads. Bottom line is they put too small of a transmission in this size tractor. If you have a small flat lawn and spend less than an hour a week mowing then wash and park it in the front yard to show off this may be your tractor.
