If You’re Looking For a Drug-Free Approach to ASD, Read This Book!
There are many different approaches for children on the autism spectrum. You may be wondering, what makes this book different from all the others you’ve read? We offer an approach that is natural, safe, and free of side effects that can offer significant, even dramatic, results for children with ASD and other developmental, behavioral, and learning problems.
Let us share with you what we have found in our work with these remarkable patients. After you read about the children we have been able to help using homeopathic medicine, you may find it to be an avenue you wish to pursue further.
What if we told you about an approach to treating ASD that was individualized, addressed all of your child’sproblems at once, looked at your child as a unique person rather than a diagnosis, and could be used along with conventional medicine, or even replace it? And what if the medicines tasted so good that kids begged for more? If you’re an open-minded, curious type of person, we hope we have stirred your curiosity. If you’re a diehard skeptic, these claims may seem implausible, if not impossible. But they are not.
The cases in this bookare those of real patients from our practice (identities have been disguised for privacy). Even if you have never even heard of homeopathy, if you have any interest in the subject of ASD we believe you will find this book intriguing and, quite possibly, a lifesaver.

The Ullmans are very dedicated homeopathic physicians with vast clinical experience in treating children with behavioral, learning, and developmental problems, for which homeopathy has much to offer. Their books are eminently readable yet comprehensive. I am sure that this book will be as well received as their very popular earlier works.
Dr. Rajan Sankaran, internationally-renowned master homeopath. Author of six books including The Substance of Homeopathy, The Soul of Remedies, and An Insight into Plants.
Drs. Ullman and Reichenberg-Ullman are widely acknowledged as the pre-eminent homeopathic practitioners for children with special needs. Homeopathy is one of the few therapies that can provide real hope for families struggling with autism spectrum disorders. I should know! My own son was cured of autism with homeopathy. In this book, the Ullman duo, along with Dr. Ian Luepker, have done it again. As with Ritalin-Free Kids and their other books, they have offered the layperson seeking help and hope a clear and concise book that offers both. The autism community is thirsting for books like this one. An invaluable patient guide!

homeopathy has been a lifesaver for my asperger's sons
As a desparate last measure I tried homeopathy for my two sons with Asperger's. I no longer worried about how 'kooky' it would seem because I was desparate for help. I visited Dr. Riechenberg-Ullman with my sons on the recommendation of one of my student's parents (because of my boys' diagnoses I left the university setting and an adjunct position and became a special ed teacher).
I have found that this homeopathic treatment has totally changed their lives and destinies. My boys are now honors students in mainstream classes with a multitude of activities and social relationships. I urge anyone with a child with this diagnosis to give this book a look. It has been the turning point in my sons' and my life.
A Gem for Professionals and Non-professionals Alike!
I am a homeopath, and I have felt daunted by the increase in the number of debilitating mental and emotional illnesses that seem to be growing in our society. By anyone's standard, they are hard to treat. So, I was very glad to read this book, and I was very impressed for several reasons: the authors, who are all renowned and respected homeopaths within the profession, give a good overview of the current understanding and mainstream medical approach to these diseases; they give a good and reasonable idea of what can be expected with homeopathic treatment; they present several cases which are interesting and inspiring to both homeopaths and parents of children who may benefit from homeopathic treatment; they give an overview of other complementary treatments as well as other resources and support for families that are looking for help; and they reflect on possible causes for the increase in these syndromes, while focusing mainly on giving relief to those who suffer now. I found the book informative, well-documented and quite useful as a professional. But it strikes me as rare that the authors have been able to come up with a book that is also understandable and useful to non-professionals as well. They didn't use jargon or hype in presenting the information, nor were there any promises of over-night cures. At the same time, the reader will surely share their delight on reading about the young people who emerged from the prison of isolation and tormenting behaviors. I found myself feeling refreshed by the consistent tone of kindness and compassion for both patients and their families that permeates the entire book. The clear focus is maintained of presenting very important information in a practical, thorough and yet gracious manner. It is truly a gift to professional and lay people alike. I found myself feeling inspired by my fellow homeopaths. I also felt renewed and encouraged by these good doctors as they remind us all about the capacity of the human organism to become healthy again even from very serious and deep-seated pathologies.
Homeopathic guide for ASD
Homeopathy is often mentioned in alternative treatments for ASD and autism, but usually it's only glancingly mentioned.
This book fills in more detail and understanding to what Homeopathy is and how it specifically relates to these special needs children. Most of the book is filled with sample cases (some actual cases and some that are amalgams of different cases used to illustrate specific tendencies). A couple of times, I found myself crying because I related to the experiences that the parents and children have. . .and other cases which, although not applicable to my family, were interesting to read.
I appreciated that it wasn't preachy. It takes into consideration the enormous exhaustion experienced by parents of high-needs children, and the ways that subtle (and not-so-subtle) family dynamics often shift when one or two family members find balance within themselves.
