I'd purchased a warranty for my iPod two years ago. When it broke, I went back and looked up the terms - submitted my claim - and had it honored. No hassles. I recommend purchasing warrantees for all iPod purchases, Apple only covers you for one year. It's worth the small price for this superior extended protection.

Quick and easy
I bought a no-name MP3 player and I sure am glad I sprung for the Square Trade warranty. The MP3 player crapped out pretty quickly and was useless before too long. Square Trade to the rescue.
