Here is a hard-to-find serious children's saddle. Featuring child's size 10" padded, deep seat. A horn small enough in diameter for a child to wrap their fingers around, with natural rawhide snake design and a silver concho on top. Perfect for barrels or poles, or just keeping your little one secure in it's deep seat. Lower skirt has spot basketweave stamping. Top of cantle is also basketweave with 2 silver conchos. First skirt and fenders are a non-slip rough-out. Set up for double rigging. Natural rawhide wrapped and leather laced 5" stirrups. Full Bars! PERFECT FOR BIG HORSES AND FAT PONIES! Two days ago I was riding with my kids and my 5 year old niece. She was using the little 10 inch saddle I bought from you about two years ago. The 23 year old mare she was on got spooked and took off with her at break neck speed. Although her feet were not in the stirrups and she doesn't know how to ride very well she still stayed on. I completely give all the credit to the saddle. The seat is so deep and with the rough-out fenders and jockeys as well as the suede seat she was held in and it gave her the extra stability she needed to stay on. We have always liked this little saddle, but now I absolutely LOVE it. I credit her safety to the structure of this saddle. I couldn't be happier with it and I just wanted to let you know.
