Don't know, as didn't use.
I bought this filter, thinking that my old filter in my Hoover bagless vacuum was plugged up. After reading the instructions, though, (ALWAYS read the instructions) I found out that the HEPA filter was washable. I washed the old one, and it worked just fine. So, I had no need for this filter, which I had ordered before reading the instructions. It seemed to be too much trouble to return the filter; besides, I had already thrown out the packing material and box, plus, I am just too lazy.
