There's a reason it's so cheap
What an idea! And what a disappointment! This cheaply produced tie-in to the first "High School Musical" film is little more than a handful of publicity shots laid out in a few yearbook-like pages. There's no attempt to portray life at East High School, and the photos are often images that would never appear in a yearbook, such as Troy and Gabriella meeting for the first time in the hallway or Troy practicing basketball at home. Overall, you learn nothing about these characters, or their school, that you didn't already know.

A much better book is High School Musical 2: The Junior Novel. It, at least, is just what it advertises to be.

Not impressed
My daughter loves everything about HS Musical. She loved the book. However, there is not much to it. I expected more.

The book is great. My niece will love it. Awesome book for any HSM fan.
