Dr. Chuck D. Pierce is President of Glory of Zion International and vice-president of Global Harvest Ministries. He is the former director of the World Prayer Center and coauthor of the books The Future War of the Church, Possessing Your Inheritance, Ridding Your Home of Spiritual Darkness, and The Best IsYet Ahead. Chuck, his wife, Pam, and their five children live in Denton, Texas. Robert D. Heidler, Th.M., is senior pastor of the Glory of Zion Outreach Center in Denton, Texas. A graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, Heidler has ministered extensively in Russia and Eastern Europe. He serves on the boards of Shekinah Messianic Ministries and Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. He and his wife, Linda, have three children.

This Book Will Be Very Important in Days to Come!
I eagerly anticipate each new book by Chuck Pierce, and this one does not disappoint. It gives essential information about faith; what it can do, and how we can cooperate with God to increase our faith. The story about shields in the time of the Roman Empire (the time in which Scripture was written) was an incredible word picture of the shield of faith. This book has the "meat" of the Word about faith, suitable for both new believers and ones that have been around a long time (like me). It is not a long book, and easy to read. But it will take a longer time to digest, because of its rich content. I will be returning to it again, and no doubt again.

Restore & Step Up Your Faith!
This is an outstanding book on faith. It includes practical, easy-to-read teaching on basics such as what faith is and the enemies of faith as well as more mature teaching on how to enter a whole new dimension of faith. (Teaches about 10 levels of faith and 7 dimensions of faith -- e.g. Saving Faith, Warfare Faith, and Overcoming Faith.) This book really helped me to think through what I believe and what I actually trust in and see how to raise up my shield of faith in daily life. If you want to refocus your eyes of faith on God instead of the giants and the waves, this book is a great to start!

Don't Waste Your Money
Given the enormous spiritual stature of Chuck Pierce in the Christian community, I was expecting much more than I got from this book. It was nothing more than a string of scriptures with a few additional comments. I was expecting something alot more profound. It might have one or two insights, but it's certainly not worth the price of the book.
