Customer Reviews

do NOT buy from PC Universe, this is an irresponsible vendor1
I bought a second battery for my Sony Vaio laptop. As promised, with expedited shipping (18.97$) by FEDEX ground, the package arrived quickly.

However, PC Universe shipped it without requiring a signature upon delivery. Add to this uninspired shipping method, an equally uninspired FEDEX delivery person, who dropped the package at my door (in an 300+ apartments complex) to sit there for over 6 hours, despite a sticker being placed on my door to deliver to the leasing office.

Moreover, when opening the package there is no printout of the order payment, contact info for PC Universe, return info, or anything. There's simply a page listing the part number of the battery and the snail mail address of the shipper.

So folks, do NOT buy from PC Universe. I know that, when I pay almost 200$ for a package, and almost 20$ for shipping, I want that package shipped with signature required, not dropped somewhere for anyone to take. I also want to see some information in the package to be able to contact the shipper.

I did let Amazon know this is a flaky vendor, which does not deserve to be linked to on the Amazon website, but until (and if) they take some action, BEWARE.
