Product Description

The rich blend of sweet almond oil, cocoa butter, and shea butter adds moisture and sheen while nourishing your hair. The scent is the icing on the cake. Jada Pinkett Smith partly attributes her long, beautiful hair to this longtime favorite.

Great finishing product4
CD's Hair Balm is a great finishing product. I bought this while waiting on my regular hair product (Qhemet Burdock Root Butter Cream) to arrive. When I used this product alone, my hair was hard and dry and I was quite disappointed. Once my regular hair product arrived, I decided to give the Hair Balm another chance, but decided to use it in a different way. I applied my regular hair moisturizer (Qhemet Burdock Root Butter Cream)and then applied a small amount of the Hair Balm. The result was wonderful. My hair had a nice shine without being greasy. I am not crazy about the scent - too heavy for my taste, but a little bit goes a long way. This product is great for natural hair.

Hair balm does it work.3
This product does not contain any petroleum or mineral oil which I loved. It does contain beeswax though.
This product is to be used on dry hair.I used it on my wet hair once and it made my hair a bit brittle. With all that said, Oils do not moisturize the hair they coat the hair, and this is used just for glossy hair as oil does.I say this because Sweet almond oil and Toaster palm Kernal oil are the two of the three ingredients advertised. This seems to be for finishing touches on hair just dab some into your plam and work through hair.
The consistency of the product is close to petroleum jelly that you can buy in regular stores it doesn't have an oily texture,
I disliked this because I thought it was for making hair softer and more glossy both combinations not just one.The ingrdients would make you think it was for softening but it seems to only make the hair glossy. I think that $12.00 is way to much for a bottle of oil that only glosses the hair. I would have used it after wetting the hair to seal in the moisture but it makes that hair a bit hard so that won't work.
I rarely use this so I still have a bit left but I must admit I was a bit disappointed it has a very nice smell but it is not good for much in my honest opinion not worth getting, but if your a product junkie give it a try. I would recommend Carols daughter Healthy Hair butter, it works very well and you don't need to use a lot.

A little will do ya4
I have relaxed hair, and used this product as a replacement for my heat serum (Paul Mitchell Sleek Works) when flat ironing my hair. The results were phenomenal! Not only was my hair sleek and glossy after straightening, my curls did not fall (even after wrapping my hair),and I also did not expereince the usual hot iron smell that is left on my hair after using my CHI of FHI irons. The smell of the hair balm reminds me of loc wax (honey scent) that isn't necessarily my favorite, but its not overpowering. Remember all you need is a little. My hair is extremly thick and shoulder length, and a dime-size amount covered every square inch after combing it through. By using this small amount, my hair did not feel weighed down. Adjust as needed for hair length and thickness. Works great with hair milk (as blow drying lotion) and khoret amen hair oil.
