Not the best choice for spiritual beginners2
If you believe that other people are to blame for your life situations, then this might be a good book to read and use. It starts with the assumption that every reader is in that state and needs to get out of it, and introduces some good concepts to chew on.

However, this isn't the best or only book for getting these concepts, partly because of that assumption on the author's part that everyone using her play book is starting in the gutter, figuratively speaking. Another, much more excellent work for beginners and people intermediate on the path is Ingrid Katal's What is Your Honor Code?. Ingrid is much more neutral on the suject of where you, the reader, might be at, and instead provides tools that allow you to make your own decisions about where you are and where you want to go.

In addition, anyone reading any of Seth's books (particularly The Nature of Personal Reality: Specific, Practical Techniques for Solving Everyday Problems and Enriching the Life You Know and The "Unknown" Reality, Vol. 1: A Seth Book and The "Unknown" Reality, Vol. 2: A Seth Book, and then doing A Course in Miracles, is going to get all of the important, true concepts (there are some that I don't think are true) that are introduced in this play book, plus some others, presented in very gentle, loving ways.

The God of Pan?2
Wow. Interesting mix of different dieties in the Excuse me Your Life is Waiting Series....some of the exercises with "spirit guides" and invoking different dieties was quite interesting and confusing. It got a little wierd invoking the "God of Pan" and all other manner of "Gods" in some of the exercises...-you just have to sift through the freaky meditations and use what fits with you. The author seems to be very confused on who God is--that was the only part that bothered me. The actual meat of the book as far as utilizing the law of attraction definately and how we blame a lot of what's OUTSIDE instead of what's INSIDE US for our results in life--THAT was the part I could use!

shame to have to write in it5
This is a workbook to go with Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting: The Astonishing Power of Feelings.
Once you have read the first book you then use this as your day book where you put things into practice. Since there is a bit of a list of things to remember, you tackle your corrective (stim:response) behaviour here in nice easy chunks till you get the flow.
It is religion/cult free, but helps if you think there is a god or buddha, if not that then even if as a darwinist you cannot help make use of this.
The only people who wont find this book of use is those that take comfort in being lifes victim as some kind of myarter (so why are you singled out by god to suffer so?).
