Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $3.49 There is no way to say enough about In Flames. Obviously any list of the best metal bands ever will have In Flames on it. I just picked this album because of "My Sweet Shadow" but every album by In Flames is just amazing.

Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $6.88 KSE is a well known element of their genre, and for good reason. Their newest album, which is self titled, has to be one of the most solid musical experiences of my life. I almost put my head through my steering wheel listening to this.

 | Mind Tricks by Disarmonia Mundi
Buy new: $32.99 Ettore Rigotti proves that he is the man repeatedly on this album. There is just so much to say about this album.. but it all boils down to awesomeness. Most of the songs on this are the "best" song. Depending on my mood, this could be my all time favorite album at any given moment. I know that doesn't make sense.. just trust me. :D Featuring Serge from Soilwork.

Buy new: $11.99 / Used from: $8.28 All that Remains.. Sweeet. Sort of like a step of heavy above the Bullet, Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold crowd. They've picked up some notoriety from "Two Weeks" being available on Rock Band 2. It's a great song, but the rest of the album is fantastic too.

Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $3.55 The Curse might be Atreyu's best album overall, but Lead Sails and Paper Anchors is also pretty darn good. These guys sound like Avenged Sevenfold or Bullet for my Valentine. This is a nice break from some of the heavier stuff I listen too.

Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $6.90 The most recent Bullet CD. If you like Avenged Sevenfold or Atreyu it's worth looking at. Best song is Waking the Demon. If you like that then their earlier albums will suit you as well. I've gotten a lot of play time out of these guys.

Buy new: $13.98 / Used from: $4.96 I'm only putting this one album up on this list but anything by Soilwork will be satisfying. Figure Number Five was my go-to album for a long time when it came out. This is Rock and Roll Metal.

Buy new: $13.98 / Used from: $4.99 This is music I like to listen to while I'm doing some deep thinking. Thinking about kicking something's ar$e. "In A New Beginning" the chorus kinda sounds like Chester from Linkin Park.. that was a little unexpected but it goes really well with the song. Great stuff. Buy new: $11.98 / Used from: $1.99 This is some of the heavier stuff I listen too. If I need to get focused at the gym or just need to vent some steam.. this is it. I think this is the best album by these guys. There's just too many good songs on this to pick a favorite.
