Average customer review:Product Description
In these discourses, Osho takes us on a fascinating journey. Beginning with the birth and flowering of Zen, he goes on to eloquently expound on Zen's teachings and meanings, including the letting go of knowledge, which brings us to true knowing, and the letting go of thought and mind, which brings us to the clarity of no-mind and samadhi.
These remarkable discourses are original, live recordings made during Osho's extemporaneous daily talks to audiences of disciples and visitors at his meditation retreat in Poona, India. His talks were, and continue to be, central to his work as a mystic trying to find ways to share his experience. And as you listen to this great teacher, you, too, will enter a state of meditative awareness that will bring you to a new understanding of the wonders of the balance and enlightenment that spring from this ancient religious path.

Customer Reviews
worth a listen
With reference to the review from the reader in Cincinnati - It is hard to believe that Osho was ever involved in ANY scandal when you study his message which is as clear and pure as any I have read. Obviously, those around him DID at ONE time do bizarre things - and in MOST cases it IS wise to steer clear of any teacher whose followers are troubled - but trust me - in THIS case, don't be put off.
In saying that, some of the audio tapes that were chosen are by no means the deepest of Osho's talks. The best thing is to read the books and if you like certain chapters in particular you can ask for a recording of THAT talk - Contact a 'local' Osho center which you will find through Osho.com.
amazingly poor
As a long-time Buddhist, i can say this is the least Enlightened talk on Zen I've ever encountered. Didn't know who Osho was, but now that I know the scandal (after which he changed his name from Rajneesh). Avoid this.
