| This section contains materials for parents/teachers to use to guide their teaching of social skills to their child/student. In addition, there are some video game systems included because this is a HUGE component of typical social play for most of your children's peers (especially among boys). I don't advocate letting your child play videogames by themselves but with a parent or peer, you can use videogames to teach social behavior. Be sure to check out the Pretend Play section as well as the Games & Toys section with a peer in mind. What will the peer find fun? If the peer has fun, then they will want to come back and play again! | ||
