The dog show scene is filmed featuring world renowned pug breeder Blanche Roberts and her award winning dogs. We learn some of her show winning secrets and hear about importing pug semen from Sweden. Ices is the prize bitch stolen out of a handlers trailer during a dog show and the dogumentary tells the dramatic rescue story. Pug Hill in New York s Central Park gives us a feel for this weekly pug gathering spot along with the Lower Manhattan six story doggy day care center called Biscuits and Bath. Briget Berlin is an independently wealthy long time associate of Andy Warhol who always brought her pugs to the Warhol studio. Editorial Reviews

Review
Some people just can t get enough of Pugs. I understand; I m one of them. A Pug s Life: The Dogumentary does a thoroughly entertaining and expansive job of exploring this phenomenon. The opening frames show people enthusiastically discussing their pugs: They re awesome! He s the love of my life! He loves a convertible! For the record, He s the love of my life, is a phrase heard no less than three time throughout the film; The reason I m still alive is because of Pugs, clocks in a few times, too. --Bark Magazine June 2006
