Almost went with the cheaper swing, but glad I didn't. My son loved the sideways motion, and it put him right to sleep. Also, this one plugs right into the wall, so no eating up batteries.

Cheapest one we could find, but does everything we need it to. He would fall right asleep in it in the living room.

If you live in a 2 story house as I do, running up and down stairs all day can be a pain. Throw extra of everything you need (clothes, diapers, blankets, ect.), and keep it downstairs.

Pampers are soft, but don't hold ANYTHING. These are the same price as generics if you have coupons. They also have a nice little curve for the cord. No more folding down.

Don't buy expensive wipes. Every store has a generic. At the beginning, just make sure it's a sensitive one. No special smelling ones. They can easily give them a rash.
