Clear road atlas of approx 70 pages, on which various types of cycle path - paved, on-road, off-road etc - are highlighted in bold colours. 100 recommended cycling tours are identified on the map and each is given a brief description (length, sights, topography) in the introductory chapter. Cycle maintenance and rental shops are also marked. The basic cartography is similar to that presented in the 1:250,000 road atlas by Dimap. Apart from scattered spot heights, there is no other relief information in the cartography, however the road detail is clear and extensive and includes some minor unpaved roads. Rest areas, motels and petrol stations on motorways are indicated but junction details are not shown. Intermediate driving distances on most routes are shown and railways - standard and narrow gauge - are included. Airfields, and car and passenger ferries are also indicated. County boundaries, national parks and nature reserves are drawn and symbols depict border crossings, information offices, campsites, hostels and a range of antiquities, landmarks, monuments, places of worship, ruins, sites of interest and curiosities. Latitude and longitude margin ticks are drawn at 10' intervals. For greater Budapest there is a map at 1:120,000 on which cycle routes are also highlighted. Multilingual legend includes English translation. The atlas is indexed and there is an extra gazetteer section providing brief details of selected places of interest. 210 pp.
