An Excellent HOT story that you won't want to end!5
Ms. Allers does it again! Pleasure Seekers involves race, age, female independencs and a very old profession that has its stigmas and drama. Three women come into a very sophicated establishment operated by a diva who passes for white. The story goes on with drama from families , childhood incidents and failed marriages - all wrapped around beauty, money and power. I loved this book from start to finish - A television movie that would be wonderful!

Life is About Choices and Chances

Pleasure Seekers by Rochelle Alers centers around four women; Faye Ogden, Alana Gardner, Illene Fairchild, and Enid Richards. Enid is the owner of a company called Pleasure Seekers (PS), Inc. Seeker's goal/mission is to discreetly provide companionship to wealthy men. She is looking to boost her company's revenue by adding a few women of color to her list of social companions. Each of the women is offered a chance to make lots of money, while rubbing elbows with high society folks and celebrities, along with a chance to travel all over the world.

Faye Ogden is an advertising executive. She signed on as a social companion to make money to hire an attorney to help with her brother's legal problems and to open her own advertising firm. Alana Gardner is an editor at a fashion magazine. She joined P.S., Inc. to make money to pay for her wedding to her musician boyfriend. Ilene Fairchild is a super model looking to make some extra money since her modeling career has started to decline. While working for P.S. Inc., each woman hopes to find what they are most looking for in life, happiness.

Pleasure Seekers starts out as a bit of a slow read. At times, it is hard to get a good grasp for the characters. Once the three women start their employment with Pleasure Seekers the story picks up considerably and is hard to put down. Each woman's story is written
so that you get lost in their lives waiting to see what surprises the writer has in store. I would recommend this book for a lazy weekend when you want to just curl up with a good book.

(RAW Rating: 4.5) - Choices and chances4
While the lives of three very diverse women were not about to implode, they all had a private demon, needed something to punctuate their lives, and were just short of desperate for money. Add to that, men seeking occasional companionship, at any cost, and Pleasure Seekers, Inc. becomes a major player.

Enid Richards, founder of P.S. Inc., learned a lot about the ploys of a woman from her mother and grandmother. With her background and a career as an attorney, which acquainted her with men of an upper echelon, she was inspired to create a very legal, slightly unusual business. But, when her carefully orchestrated venture starts losing momentum, Enid changes the demographics. Those changes include three women of color; Ilene, an international model, Faye, an award-winning advertising executive, and Alana, an editor for a hot fashion magazine.

Pleasure Seekers, Inc. offers exclusive companionship to the rich and famous, and financial advantages to its employees. The rules of the arrangements stipulate platonic involvement from both parties, but that was easier said than done. The clients are eclectic, possess a touch of proclivity and are oblivious to the exorbitant fees. It is a win-win situation for all. However, things become complicated when the clients pose unique requests and the ladies wind up in delicate situations.

PLEASURE SEEKERS is captivating as it suspends the lives of these women, Enid included, in a smoldering abyss, and holds readers entranced. Rochelle Alers leaves no social issue un-turned. The writing is tight, the characters are real, the scenes present a torrent of visual and sensual delights and lives are irrevocably changed. When the book is closed, the mind will still experience a state of vicarious meandering, it will make you exhale.
