comparing 2 wacom Intuos3 6X8 tablets
My daughter and I were searching for the best tablet for graphic art. The wacom Intuo3 6X8 has the highest recommendation. There are two versions. It was hard to find the difference in the two. They both have limited lifetime warranty. We chose the PTZ630 because we did notice a huge difference in the software bundled they come with.

Consider your needs and habits for the size you buy5
I have had the 6X8 tablet for over 6 months. I use it for its intended use with Photoshop for drawing/painting and photo editing. I love it!! I use the pen for graphics and the mouse for everything else. I just wonder if I may have been satisfied with the 4x6 model. I find I get lazy with my wrist. You CAN change the active area on this tablet surface to any size smaller you like and any orientation on the surface for the pen's use. You can zoom in and out on your image and I guess I prefer shorter stokes to be able to rest my wrist and touch all the program menu items without reaching for them. The mouse uses the whole tablet pad area. So just consider long or short strokes and the cost difference before you buy one.

Perfect size!!5
I started using the 6x8 Wacom tablet at work and I had to buy one to use on my computer at home! It's the perfect size... not so big that it's cumbersome and not so small that it's an awkward work space.
