works great
i just came back from Israel and Egypt (april 2009) and this charger worked great for my iphone in both places. my iphone is the older one not the 3G.

Kensington International Travel Charger for Ipod/Iphone 1G/3G
It does what is says it does. I like the fact that the charger cable is a standard USB cable so it also allows a charge from my Mac.
