Phone Features
In addition to the 7510's interchangeable faceplates, the phone also features magical light effects that shine through the cover (and provide info such as current time). The phone has a 2.2-inch internal LCD screen with a 240 x 320-pixel resolution and an amazing 16.7 million color depth--perfect for reviewing your photos, and it's paired with a standard alpha-numeric keypad with chiclet-style buttons. The top of the phone's flip also includes the camera lens, with integrated LED flash.

The phone's 27 MB of internal memory can be expanded via optional MicroSD memory cards (up to 8 GB in size). The internal phonebook can store up to 2,000 contact entries, each with multiple numbers per contact and support for caller groups and photo/ringer ID.

I've owned cell phones since they first arrived on the market. In fact, my very first cell phone was a Nokia. This might be the best phone I've ever owned. It might be a little "industrial" for some folks; I love that about it. Sturdy and feels like quality. If you are looking for a sleek, slim, light-as-a-feather phone, you probably will not like this one. If you want a phone like feels like it might work as a weapon, and has some awesome features for the price, this is for you!!

I was a die-hard Blackberry fan for years but the BB plans just got too expensive for me (sudden change in financial situation).

Features I like the most: The interface on this phone is awesome, and you have several ways to customize that. I like the overall size of the phone. It has an FM radio....I've been wanting that on a phone forever! It takes a micro SD card. It syncs with my laptop just like a Blackberry, using Nokia PC Suite (free download) so I can use Outlook with it. It has Wi-fi, and switches phone usage back and forth from air to wi-fi depending on what is available!! How cool is that?? It has Bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera, takes video....both of which I have yet to explore much. The media player has awesome sound just through the phone speaker!!

I wasn't expecting much from email after owning a BBerry, but this is fine for me. Setup was non-existant. Somehow it set up itself. I had trouble finding the speakerphone feature; To use the speakerphone while on an active call, press the Right Soft key to select Loudspeaker.

I have only owned this phone for a day, but I put it through it's paces pretty well so far. Amazon has it on sale right now with a T-mobile plan for free, plus you get a $50 rebate back!! They pay you to take it!! For that kind of money, this is an awesome phone.

It does not come with a needed micro-usb (not mini-usb) cable for syncing with a PC. That is about the only thing I don't like about this phone.

Great Phone
I purchased this phone about a month and a half ago, to replace a Nokia 6263 that actually still worked very well for me, but I just wanted to try the Wifi features on this phone.

I must say that overall I am very pleased with the phone, but the wifi is not as strong as I had hoped it would be. Sometimes it has trouble connecting in areas I know a decent signal is present (like on my college campus), and unfortunately, the wifi DRAINS the battery. If I have the wifi turned on, my battery will barely last a day before it's completely dead, sometimes not even that long. If I keep the wifi shut off, the battery life almost triples. I am fortunate that I live in an area where the wifi is not a necessary feature to use the phone in my home, so I keep it turned off most of the time, though I sometimes turn it on if I am trying to use the phone inside my college campus building, which seems to kill cell phone signals for some reason (have 4 bars outside the building).

Even with the wifi feature turned off, this phone does get very good service in all of the places my 6263 did, and I rarely have a serious issue with dead spots other than when I am in some rather rural areas where no service has yet penetrated the airways, or inside most of my college campus' buildings which seem to block the T-Mobile signal (again 4 bars immediately outside the building).

The phone I received came with a 2.5 mm stereo headset, which have adequate sound quality, but I don't like that the left ear wire is about 1/3 the length of the wire for the right, which can cause issues wearing the headset. I would imagine that like the nokia 6263, you could get an adapter and just use a regular set of headphones, but I have not tried this yet. The phone does have a media player built in, but it is not as easy to access on this phone as it is on some of Nokia's other phones (think 5300 series or the 6263). But it does play nicely. I have a 4 GB memory card in the phone and it has no trouble reading or accessing anything on the card. This phone can use your MP3 files as ringtones either off of the Micro SD card, or stored in the phone itself, though I do suggest using an Micro SD card since internal memory on the phone is somewhat limited (it's less than the 30 MB that came on the 6263, but I don't remember the exact amount). The main reason I have not tried to use a regular headphone on this handset is because I mainly use my headset when I am listening to the music player, and there are no external music buttons on the phone, so you have to flip the phone open to skip songs. The headset that comes with the phone has a single button on it that allows you to do this without opening the phone, and this also lets you answer and hang up incoming calls, something that you would also be unable to do with a standard wired handset.

I also own a stereo bluetooth and it works very well with this phone, and I would say that is probably the best option if you plan to use the music player on this phone, since (at least my bluetooth) can control the media player from it, without handling the phone, and you can make and receive calls using only it.

This review was much longer than I intended it to be, but I wanted to be fair and honest in my evaluation. This phone is actually better than I thought it would be initially, and I enjoy using it, and despite the wifi shortcomings, it is a great phone, and in all honesty, the wifi shortcomings aren't that bad, I just keep that feature turned off unless I am in an area where it is needed.

ok replacement for my old nokia
Ok so my old phone got dropped in the toilet and didnt work anymore forcing me to replace it with this 7510 model. Phone works ok although signal strengh is an issue in my area I have to go 2 miles outside of town even to get a signal. I do have the hot spot function and use my wireless router for a cell tower. it comes up full signal strenght when im inside the house. I still hear lots of drop outs although the other end no one notices a problem. the phone is hard to hear sometimes it just doesnt get loud enough.
Ok heres my beef with the phone: I have the myfaves package and 4-5 times a day i get a message saying my myfaves have been refreshed? its quite annoying! I called Tech support and they said to remove the sim card and battery and reinstall. I did that and it still does it. no one seems to have a solution. Ive been a Loyal Tmobile person since 05 but their customer service leaves me very cold.
