Sonic X, Vol. 1 includes two episodes: Chaos Control Freaks and Sonic to the Rescue.
Chaos Control Freaks
When the heroic hedgehog smashes into Dr. Eggman's heavily guarded compound to snatch the seventh Chaos Emerald, Eggman panics and initiates Chaos Control. Blasted into a confusing new world, Sonic's soon the target of a high-speed police squad that'll stop at nothing to get their man... or their hedgehog!
Sonic to the Rescue
Sonic learns that his buddies Cream and Cheese are being held at a top secret military base, so Chuck hatches a plan to save them. The mission goes smoothly--until Sonic finds the base is booby trapped! Then it's a full-throttle race against time to a startling, last-minute surprise.

Innovative idea + great show = fun on the go
Who would've thought the GBA was so powerful?
The video, while not DVD quality is actually better than just watching it on TV (unless you own a high-end TV). Very impressive for the GBA's small screen.
The sound, is again, not DVD quality, but the music is outstanding regardless (hearing the GBA blast out the main theme song is very titillating!), and the voices are the highest quality you'll ever hear from a cartridge.
For those of you wondering, yes you can fast forward, rewind, pause, select and skip chapters, and even control the brightness. There's also a button lock feature so that nothing accidentally presses the buttons while you watch the movie. Very convenient.
Oddly though, while you need no special accessories to watch it on your GBA/GBA SP system (you just put it in and watch it like you would put in and play any cartridge game) you can't use the GBA Player accessory for the Gamecube to watch it; you've gotta use the GBA/GBA SP. I was tempted to take a star away for this, but it seems to be a feature of all GBA Video products, and it does a good enough job on the GBA so I'll go easy on it.
This is the first installment of the Sonic X show, and contains the first two episodes. It chronicles how Sonic and co. arrive in a parallel universe. Unlike Sonic-themed shows of the past, this one is true to its videogame roots, and features the well known and loved Sonic cast and locales... although some don't show up until later on. The series gets off to a slow, yet still entertaining and action packed beginning.
Parents, if your child like Sonic stuff and has a GBA, you can't go wrong here. Sonic fans, you owe it to yourself to get this. This is a fun, innovative, easy-to-use, and inexpensive way to watch a great show anywhere. Highly recommended to all Sonic fans, and still recommended to anyone who likes a great show or wants to see what the GBA is capable of.
First and Best!
I got this just yeaterday and it rocks! There are times in fast movement[remember, this is sonic we're talking about] where there is pixelation, but the quality is overall good. This works really well with the GBA SP. Before using this, some advice. Get headphones. The speakers on the GBA don't really work that well for this good of cartoon. With headphones, it sounds almost like the original. Get this one now! :)
Sonic X Rocks!
One day my friend came over and he had a Gamboy Advance Video. I found it rather interesting so I decided I would by one with my own money. When I got to the store, I went to the section where the had Gameboy Advance Video. The second I saw Sonic X I knew i would get it. Over a weak I watched it loads of times. When you put in the cartridge it comes up to a menu where you which episode you want to watch. It has really good sound and it looks almost exactly as it does on tv (exept it is in wide screen of course). I give Sonic X volume 1 5 out of 5 stars. Too bad I can't give it 10. Gameboy Advance Video goes great with GBA headphones too.
