Informative and Understandable!!
The Real Estate Investors Guide is very informative, easy to read, and understandable. I've read other books on asset protection, and often they provide such complex schemes for protecting your assets that there is just no way it applies to me. I liked that this book focused on the "normal" individual and clearly explained what LLCs and Corporations do, and how to use them.
The most comprehensive book on the subject
This is one of the most comprehensive books on the subject. I think that considering that this country is extremely litigious, protecting your assets is essential. The author says that there are approximately 70,000 lawsuits filed in America every day and the fastest-growing segments of litigation are real estate and premises liability lawsuits. While other books may be too technical, this one is written in language that is easy to understand. It covers various ways to hold properties such as individual ownership, general partnerships, limited liability companies, chapter C corporations, subchapter S corporations, and series LLCs. If you own more than one property, you might find series LLCs very cost effective. The author not only explains how these various methods protect you from litigation, but also how they affect your tax bill.

Realty LLC book
For anyone thinking about getting into real estate investing - either by purchasing real estate to flip and sell, or purchasing real estate to fix up and rent out - this book really explains all the legal ways to deal with the tax benefits or penalties when owning real estate. I found it to be a great source of knowledge written in easy to understand terms (no so much legal speak) to be able to make an informed decision about which type of 'corporation' I should look into for my real estate goals.
