The adidas 1.1 B is the first basketball shoe with intelligent cushioning. The higher intelligence level 1.1 makes the shoe better, stronger and faster. A magnetic sensor in the heel measures the impact every time your foot hits the court. A microprocessor then analyzes the info it receives from the sensor to figure out the amount of cushioning needed at that moment. A motor-driven cable system then adjusts the tension of a cushioning cylinder to achieve the perfect cushioning level. Synthetic upper with mesh tongue, speed-lacing system and padded ankle. Ventilation holes add breathability. Non-marking rubber outsole.

great shoes
So I was a little hesitant when I recieved thease shoes. They felt a little heavy, and I wasn't sure if they would be as quick as my other shoes. I also play point guard so I dont usually like a heavy shoe so I mainly bought thease shoes for training, because I heard these shoes had a great cussioning system and I dont care about how fast my feet move when I am just working out. So I was not too suprised when I found out that thease were the best cussion shoes I have ever owned, but I was supprised when I started to perfer wearing thease shoes over my faster lighter shoes in my Pro Am games. I play basketball overseas and I def will take thease with me when I go back.

Awesome Basketball Shoes
This shoe rocks! I've had many pairs of basketball shoes but this one is by far one of my favorites. It's very comfortable. True to size as well. The intelligent system works nicely too. I used it in a tournament which lasted about 5 hours and my legs and feet never got tired or sore. Matter of fact, I just ordered another one. These are no longer being made, so pick one up if you get the chance.
