The story revolves around a 15-year old high school student by the name of Ichigo Kurosaki who has the ability to see ghosts. Rukia Kuchiki, a shinigami (god of death), accidentally runs into him one day while searching for a hollow (an evil spirit). She is surprised that Ichigo had the ability to see her since ordinary humans could not see her. During the fierce fight with the hollow, Rukia was wounded and was forced to transfer all of her powers into Ichigo. After defeating the hollow, the adventures of Ichigo and Rukia begin and together they search for hollows and perform soul burials on lost souls, cleansing the spirits and sending them to Soul Society.

Byakuya and Renji look terrific!
I absolutely loved the Byakuya figure the most of these 2. The painting job and costume reproduction looked almost perfect. The Renji figure has a nice pleasant expression on his face which is pleasing compared to how they could have given him a scowl or 'battle face'. It was difficult to figure out how to put the swords in their hands before I realized you have to detach the handles from the blades. Both of them look extremly close to the anime and manga characters.

These figures are excellent. The only problem is that both both of their swords are very fragile and can come off easily. make sure you dont play with them too much. they are meant to be shown off.
