Amazon.com Review
The popular and fun anime TV series "Bakugan Battle Brawlers" has spawned a variety of toys, including a strategic game and this Bakugan Deluxe Monster Preyas. This figurine is based on Bakugan monsters from the TV show, who look fearsome but use their powers for good. Your child aged four and up can play with this sturdy, colorful monster completely independent of the Bakugan Battle Brawlers game, or can use it to add excitement to their Bakugan battles (though the monsters are not officially part of the game.)

No Rules, Just Fun
No assembly is required for this figurine--just cut it free from the box and it's ready to go! Unlike the Bakugan Battle Brawlers game, which has somewhat complicated rules, this monster figurine can be used however your child likes. If your child is a fan of the Bakugan Battle Brawlers game, he can position Preyas and other figurines around the game play area just for fun; they are not actually part of the game. If your child doesn't own the game, he can easily make up his own games to play with the monsters.
Chunky and sturdy, this figurine doesn't exactly fit in a pocket but it is still lightweight and easy to take to a friend's house. Preyas comes with a detachable lizard-like tail.
Hours of Monstrous Entertainment
Each monster figurine has its own distinct look and individual powers. Preyas' webbed hands and feet have talons that can tear apart its pray. His fins and long tail make him a good swimmer. It's very easy to move his powerful arms into intimidating poses and to bend his lethal feet into a variety of positions.
We especially liked his combination of scales and talons and wouldn't want to swim into this monster underwater. We would have liked to see some background information about Preyas included on or in the box, but there was none. Kids who are familiar with the TV show will know all about Preyas already, but others will have to make up their own stories about him or do some sleuthing on the Bakugan Web site. Luckily, kids have great imaginations, and we think this frightening distinctive-looking blue-and-purple aqua monster will inspire hours of entertainment--especially when used with other deluxe monster figurines.

Cool Toy
I purchased this toy for my 9-year old nephew at a good price. It is a high quality toy, well made, and cool looking. My nephew seemed to like it.
Bakugan Monster Is Great!
I am 13 and my Mom bought these for me because I made good grades! They are awesome! She said they got here quick, too!
Action Figure and only that
My son is into bakugan and likes aquos preyas. I did not realize this was just a action figure. He looked at it when he opened his present and put it down and has not since played with it.
He likes the bakugan that change when put on a card. He likes to read about them. I thought my little girl (2) would like playing with this, but no. She get pulled into the play when my son is always playing bakugan but also likes the changing bakugan.
Basically both children are not touching this toy.
