Great filter
This is another high quality filter by Hoya. Besides filtering out UV light, a Skylight filter can also counter the excessive blue color of sky in a sunny day and produce a warmer tone. This filter can also be left on permanently for use as lens protection.

skylite or ND filter?
When I got it I looked through it and i thought I was imagining something-it looked kinda dark. Sure enough, i put it on the camera and it was a 1/2 stop darker than without it. geesh. I bought to protect lens.

try a uv filter or one of those expensive Ultra Clear filters. good luck
