Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $5.62 Muted and quiet but this is the only way to render credibly the incredible mixture of comedy and tragedy of the original novel. Decidedly underrated so don't trust the reviews!

Buy new: $23.49 / Used from: $15.94 Forster's gay love story is rendered very thruthfully to the original but somehow this does not make it a very good movie. Some cuts to speed up the pace would be necessary - unless you love slow motion you may find it a bit boring.

Buy new: $21.99 / Used from: $11.99 It's an awarded classic with great cast (Anthony Hopkins with Emma Thompson) but it clings too much to the original for perfection. The Academy, however, did not quite share my views so it got some Oscars ;)
