Editorial Reviews
Album Description
The follow-up to "You And Me Against The World" is a ten-track EP containing eight remixes of album tracks alongside two b-sides. Energetic and original, this is a fluid collection of exceptional remixes. Highlights include the "Flipside Club Mix" of "In This Together", the "Drugwar" remix of "Tuning In To The Frequency Of Your Soul", and their cover of House of Love's "Shine On".
Customer Reviews
Apop has still got it!
This EP showcases the ability to please fans with remixes from "You and Me Against the World" which did not please many fans. But that is not the case with me, I loved YAMATW and Groth's ability to evolve Apop's signature sound with rock sensibilities. Now for Black EP, highlights include, "In this Together (Flipside Club Mix)", "Love to Blame (DJ Lee Perception Remix)", "Tuning In to the Frequency of Your Soul (Drugwar Remix)" and "Black Pawn (Apop vs. Magenta)". This EP also packages all of Apop's singles from YAMATW into a single release. Highly recommended.
THE CHILD DEVIANT
This is a good remix album. The original album "You And Me Against The World" is not so good....but this remix album is verry cool. Apop is in desperate need of a 'return to the dark'..nevertheless, ...this silly little "EP" isn't so bad as far as dance music is conscerned.
eh.. ok
Eh... it's ok... a few of the pieces are nice... but all in all, the originals exceed the remixes on this one.
