Amazon.com Product Description
Ideal for recreational boating or fishing on lakes and calm rivers, the Intex SeaHawk 400 boat set comes with everything you need to hit the water immediately. The inflatable boat--which fits up to four people--is made of super-tough 30-gauge PVC vinyl that resists damage from abrasion, impacts, and sunlight, letting you boat with confidence even near rocks or logs. The PVC is also unaffected by gasoline, oil, or saltwater, so you needn't take special precautions around a motor or near a saltwater inlet. Construction-wise, the boat includes two air chambers for safety, an inner hull chamber, an inflatable floor that's comfortable yet rigid, welded oarlocks, inflatable cushions, and an all-around grab line. The boat even sports two fishing rod holders at the rear--one on each side--so you can enjoy an afternoon angling with friends. Other features include a grab handle on the bow, oar holders, a gear pouch, and a U.S. Coast Guard ID. The SeaHawk 400--which comes with oars and an inflation pump--measures 133 by 19.5 by 50 inches (W x H x D) and holds up to 814 pounds.

Customer Reviews

Boat good, accessories OK4
The hand pump included with this package worked well enough, but I definitely recommend an electric or battery-operated pump because the boat's three separate air compartments take forever to fill with a hand pump. The oars included were solid, but the boat's oar locks didn't seem to work exactly right with the oars. Also, the fishing rod holder didn't seem to hold up strong enough to keep the pole from leaning into the water. But the boat is really big and really nice and definitely worth purchasing.

great boat5
2008 Model Intex Seahawk 400 Boat Set - 4 Persons 880 lbs Capacity
i just got this boat today.i filled it up snd it is huge! very impressive. the material is avery thick gauge i tought that the boat would be black and blue but its green wich makes it looks even better.it comes with a hand pump however i recommend getting a good electric pump "wich i bough"it only took a minute to fil the boat up
the gear bag is a nice thing to have.ill be spending all weekend out on lake belton with my new best friend.and it arrived 3 days early!im glad i didnt go to the big blue box and bought s chaeapie boat..and the family loves it too
i only wish it had swivel oar locks on it
but well worth the money indeed

bad experience1
I have bought many items from Amazon in the past. But the 4 person boat item was sold via CMS world services. I will never buy any item via them again.

The boat had a leak at the bottom upon when I got it. Now they want me to ship the entire items bck to them in the original package in original condition(which is impossible to put it back once you open it) at your OWN COST. I have already paid $40 to ship it when I got it.

When I send the emails to warrenty services, they are not even replying proptly.

CMS world wide services company is a terrible one. They can ship the damaged item, but you will have to take the cost for that.

Anyone out there want to do the same and take the risk?

See the responce from Amazon when I reported based on their A-Z gurantee:

Hi,

I am not retuning this just because I did not like it. Rather I received a defective item hence it needs to be replaced.

Since I received a defective item, I would expect the seller to pay the retun charge; hence I fully disagree with your statement below.

I would like to dispute this formally and let me know how to proceed.

I can't belive that after paying $40 shipping, you would expect me to send it at my cost the defective item I have received.
