About the Author
John and Carol McDougald have been active collectors and dealers for 30 years. Both have served as officers in the National Insulator Association. Carol edited the monthly hobby publication, Crown Jewels of the Wire, for 18 years. John is currently serving as chairman of the Authentication and Classification Committee of the National Insulator Association.

The McDougalds also maintain Grampa Mac's Insulator Emporium, a web-based store for insulators.
