Exploring the Hidden Power of Female Sexuality inspires women to go to the depths of womanhood to explore the hidden secrets of yin. In a playful way, she encourages women to surrender to the abyss and stillness of their being, where yin is centered. While sexuality is considered to be a fundamental base of health, creativity, and spirituality, and has been used as a main energy source, it has been dominated by the male principle (yang). This comprehensive theoretical and practical introduction to holistic female sexology enables women to understand their own true nature. Piontek includes meditations and exercises geared toward connecting with the well of unlimited strength to liberate from personal and collective conditioning. Bibliography. Index.

Realistically empowering the feminine
This woman is not a feminist with extreme views, but does offer some viewpoints that seem controversial to me.. gender roles and all of that. But they are very interesting and can be very enlightening. Her view on men is very interesting; she encourages accepting them as they are, instead of always trying to change them as we women often do. As an alternative she suggests finding what we seek in ourselves (instead of demanding men embody all of it).
It is really nice that there are books like this one out there that encourage women to develop greater compassion, love and respect for themselves. She does not just include her viewpoints but some good information, quite a bit of it, about Chinese medicine and self-healing techniques, and a little about foods as well. I recommend this book to any woman with an open mind who seeks a realistic way of improving her own life as well as her relations to men.
