The Silent Gospel by James Andrew Barrett
I was fortunate to be one of the first readers of James Barrett's outstanding book, The Silent Gospel. He has made it possible with his excellent research for a scientifically illiterate person as myself to realize the incredible connection of advanced spiritual states with those of quantum science.

The Shroud of Turin has been a very controversial artifact, made even more so by those who would rather view it as a fraud than as a genuine and unique phenomenon. Barrett totally wipes out with his research the objections to the shroud and offers the scientific evidence that it is, indeed, the result of a very advanced spiritual master from 2000 years ago, crucified in the outskirts of Jerusalem.

Barrett also presents in this book his biofeedback research on the heart and how our heart's entrainment to the earth and solar system can help us entrain our minds in our search for enlightenment.

It is wonderful to see how science and spirituality are finally coming together after centuries of having been split apart in The Silent Gospel. James Barrett has taken a very complex subject and brought it all together for those of us who seek unity rather than separation as a vision for life.

I recommend it to both students of divinity as well as of science who need to embrace what has seemed in the past to be very separate fields of study.

I have read many books concerning this topic of our place in the Divine scheme of things in relationship to the understanding of quantum physics but this one is the best I have ever read! James' understanding of the power of compassion as well as his explanation of how to engage in this selfless emotion is beyond comparison. For the first time I understand the purpose of the Shroud of Turin as a vehicle that reveals what happens to a Being who has evolved and actually become compassion. The understanding and replication of this truth held within the Shroud reveals this also as our path to ascension!
