What would you do if you were sitting quietly in your living room when a mysterious couple appeared from out of nowhere - and then told you they were "ascended masters" who had come to reveal some shocking secrets of existence and teach you the miraculous powers of advanced forgiveness? Would you call the cops? Call a psychiatrist? Call out for pizza?
When two such teachers appeared before Gary Renard in 1992, he chose to listen to them (and ask a lot of impertinent questions). The result is this startling book: an extraordinary record of 17 mind-bending conversations that took place over nearly a decade, reorienting the author's life and giving the world an uncompromising introduction to a spiritual teaching destined to change human history.

Customer Reviews
Enlightening, Entertaining, Excellent
D.U. found it's way to me and before I was through the first chapter I had bought A Course in Miracles (which I had heard of previously but had not yet been inspired to read). You know when you hear/read something that resounds as "truth" on all levels, well this was it for me. Having munched my way through over 20 years of spiritual information, D.U. clarified ALL like nothing I have ever seen before and best of all, not only gave answers to a multitude of questions which had arisen over many years of study but also explained simply WHAT TO DO! What a gift. Thank you, thank you to all involved in this book...you know who you are!
Filling in missed lessons
For starters I never write reviews. I feel there are some books for some and some for others,
I have been in search of enlightenment for sometime now. Have been a martial artist and have studied some of Buddha's teachings and meditate on a regular basis (Chi Kung), but have always felt something is lacking and that the path I was on seemed to be shorted (if that makes sense).
Well, this book has lead me to understand there is other ways out there and that the ideas I were having really aren't insane.
So, overall thanks and I would recommend this book for those that have some answers, not all and are looking for information fill in's. And of course an open mind.
Love it All
I was raised Catholic and competently educated by the Jesuit Order of the church. This became a problem, because I was taught to be intelligent and then I was asked to believe all the nonsense pedalled as Truth; like an all loving God will send you to hell after you die if you break some silly rules that everyone breaks, including the priests. All-Loving! Are you kidding? And the hypocracy, my Goodness, where to start? Telling anyone what they should not think and feel is just a setup for anger and disappointment, because no one can control the content of a life that just happens. Then, they want you to forgive your sins, mistakes, errors, while failing to forgive their own false doctrine of separation from Source. Clearly the main control mechanism of this religous culture was "crazy making" by the patently false means of selling fear and punishment as a pathway to God's Love. How absurd a notion.
According to Gary and The Course in Miracles which this book interprets through the metaphor of Gary's spiritual experience with his inner teachers, God Is... and Perfect Love is all that is Real. Thus, you are That and therefore innocent. Reasons to feel guilty no longer apply. I agree, hallelujah. Dreaming is nothing to feel guilty for, waking up is all that's required. Gary's intuition of the Holy Spirit states that the means to this Truth is the willingness to practice forgiveness of all appearances in this so-called waking life (including "crazy making" religious organizations) that look and feel like they support separation from this Absolute Truth. As we, the people, are also one of these appearances, we are to forgive ourselves along with everything else, so that we might transcend every illusion of separation from God, Love and Truth. When we have accomplished loving individually or collectively through forgiving our illusions, the universe as we now know it will disappear, as it is nothing more than a mistaken mental dream. Thus, does duality end.
Finally, we can have in our hands an intelligent Christian teaching about God, Jesus, non-duality, Love, Peace, Self and more. Honest and sincere, profound yet light-hearted, these are spiritual teachings that can set us free once and for all. The power to be free is placed where it truly belongs; in each and every conscious being. How much freedom and love you enjoy is up to you and forgiving your illusions is the way.
