Excellent breadth of Images5
I am studying a model for theoretical physics using different geometries of standing waves in place of "particles" and "spacetime". The electron is treated as a spherical standing wave for example. Describing these concepts to people is very difficult. Many of the images in this book make this discussion much easier as people can grasp ideas from images that convey them more easily than from words. This book has a large and varied array of images of standing waves with different geometries on water and other media driven at various frequencies, showing the intricate patterns that can be created. By extending the notion from "waves on water" to "waves in the quantum vacuum", this book stands in as a talking stick with which to explore new realms of theoretical physics.

I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the intricate geometries that can be created with acoustic waves in 2D or 3D (where these images represent a slice through a 3D structure analogous to a hologram which is a 2D slice through a 3D interference pattern.

I have read this book at least 20 times5
20 times for a book seems excessive, I know, but I am biased towards this book because I translated it from its original German.

So if I say this is a great book you can't really trust me, so I will not attempt to judge it because I am biased. But what I will say is that it was a great experience for me to work on the translation and the English layout of the book, that it has amazing imagery (I can say this because they are not mine but Mr. Lauterwasser's) and that I was very proud when I finally - after nearly two years of work - held the finished book in my hands.

It speaks for itself that the book was endorsed by Don Campbell, author of 'The Harmony of Health' and "The Mozart Effect" saying "This is THE 'Sound' Book of the Decade."

In the beginning was the word.....and the word was sound5
Fascinating to see evidence that sound produces patterns in the physical world.......what is the implicaation??
