Vangelis
Having been introduced to this album years ago in my teens, it was great to rediscover it. I have always been a huge fan of Vangelis and this album is one of his most creative endeavors. I recommend it anyone. Especially to anyone who knows Vangelis only from his movie work (Chariots of Fire, 1492: Conquest of Paradise, Bladerunner, etc). It will give you a glimpse into the mind of this composer as he creates for the sake of creating and not for a director. Five out of five stars.

Vangelis at his best
I was very young when I listened to this CD for the first time. Now, many years later, I find it a timeless experience. It just somehow fails to get old. Even though my iTunes library counts thousands of records, I keep returing to Direct from time to time. There is something from Bladerunner OST in this CD but it sounds also sounds more classical, the artist's approach is more varied, more themes are used. For its time this is a very innovative record full of original ideas and sounds.

Excellent !!!!
I am a fan of Vangelis since 1990`s, when I discovered the art and style of this greek composer. This work (DIRECT) is excellent, not only for the quality of the CD, but the majestic of construction of sounds, acords and noises... improvisation, creation and inspiration in one album.

Is like the music of stars... the universe and the infinite!!!!
