The Stargazer's Journey
Some of the very best of Serrie's complex-continuous space music. Unlike some composers of this genre, Serrie somehow weaves sounds in such a way as to allow the listener to "not listen" and yet have a consciousness-altering experience. Relaxing and fulfilling at the same time.
Serrie can do no wrong
If you like space music, he is the one. Jonn Serrie's music brings me back to the galactic center very quickly. I feel like I am on the space ship enterprise! I have 3 of his cds and though, they are similar, they are all distinct. He has a gift with creating feelings from our galactic origins or future.
Deep space return for John Serrie
This is a top notch return to space music for John Serrie. If you liked "And the stars go with you" and "Flightpath," you will love "Stargazer's Journey (SJ)." SJ has more depth and instrumentation layers than some of his earlier work, but it retains the John Serrie flavor that makes it an instant classic with high replay value. I do not recommend some of John's other work, such as "Midsummer's Century." However his space music is second to none. If you like SJ, you may also want to consider his:
"Flightpath"
"And the stars go with you"
"Planetary Chronicles I & II"
and anything by Mark Dwane (such as "The Atlantis Factor").
