A beautiful collection of music
If you don't have any of Hayley's albums this is the perfect place to start. With tracks from her previous albums Pure, Odyssey and Treasure.
There three new recordings on the album too !
Now Is The Hour in Maori and English was a huge hit worldwide before Music Charts were even invented. This song is worth the price of the album on its own and Hayley's version is beautifully performed.
A delicate interpretation of Songbird, the Christine MacVie classic.
Also a new recording of Ave Maria demonstrating how much Hayley's voice has matured recently.

One of the best informative items on Amazon.com for this product was where you could listen to clips of the music tracks. They provided enough information to discern whether or not I would like the CD. The CD came in in just the condition that I expected and it was perfect. I listen to it every day in my car. Thanks!
A beautiful young voice
From the first time I heard Hayley Westenra I was spellbound by the light high and fine voice with very accurate pitch. I descrbed to a friend that she reminded me of both Kiri Te Kanowa, and Teddy Tahu Rhodes as a remarkable voice from the land of the Long White Cloud. After her time with Celtic Woman, Hayley has become confident and professional. The songs on the River of Dreams are rendered with almost a choirboy like purity and simplicity. Both of the Ave Marie's are exceptional and convey a clear movement of the heart. I look forward to the maturity of Hayleys voice and interpretation as she is still very young. My hope is that in a few years she may engage more of the Bell Canto repetiore as she has a voice that could fit this beautifully.
