The IM Bible
This book, produced by the Data Management Association (DAMA), is a collection of relatively short papers (about 33 in total) covering the whole spectrum of data management.
Although the quality of the papers varies each contains a wealth of information useful to the data management professional. I now consider it to be one of my most useful reference books.
