Customer Reviews

Exactly what I wanted5
When I got a new car, I was concerned that my grandson's car seat would dent the leather. After reading reviews, I chose this seat protector and I'm very happy with it. It took 15 seconds to install and it fits my Accord perfectly. It's sturdy and nice looking. When I checked under it after several weeks of use, I found no marks at all on my car seats.

perfect car seat companion5
this is the perfect companion for your car seat. does not make marks in the leather

Bottom half ok, top half needs traction3
The bottom half of this product, that is the portion that rests on the seat itself, works just fine. However, the part that is supposed to protect the seat back does not have any traction. My 3-year-old son's car seat would move from side to side when I turned my vehicle, because the car seat was not gripping the back of the seat properly. Consequently, I have stopped using the top half of this product (the halves are detachable). This product also comes with a warning that it may cause discoloration to your seat if the car is exposed to high temperatures. Of course, the company disclaims liability for this, so be careful. We live in Houston where the temperatures can be in excess of 100 degrees in the summer, and I have not noticed any such discoloration in either of our cars which have tan and gray leather upholstery. Overall, I give this product an average-to-below-average rating. If protecting your upholstery is very important to you, you might give it a try, however I suggest trying to make your own upholstery protector first out of something like cupboard-liner material.
