Durable, but not unbreakable
I've had these glasses for about 10 years. Over that time, I've broken 3. My roommate broke one when they were fairly new, when she was was washing them. I couldn't figure out how, but we had a cast iron enamel sink. Recently, 2 have come out of the dishwasher broken. I've never stacked them.

These wouldn't be good for families with young children - they are too heavy and would probably be dropped. However, they did survive a post-college group of coed roommates and various parties.

Great Everyday drinking glasses with 3 ideal sizes
You can't do any better. They are heavy and durable. Wash crystal clear in the dishwasher and the price is right. When serving cold drinks I let them frost up in the freezer and they are impressive and stay cold longer. They come properly packed unlike Walmarts' flimsey, cheap packaging.

Heavy glasses for cheap
I am a med school student and found that these glasses were extremely nice for us. They are heavier than normal drinking glasses so they are more durable. They do not break as easy as other glasses. We enjoyed how many glasses you get for a cheap price. Easy glass is the perfect size.
