Customer Reviews
thoughtful comments on culture & tourism
I've guided several trips to Tanzania (climbing Kili and Serengeti safari) and I found this book very helpful (especially since I had no prior experience in the region). I appreciated the author's short essays on culture & tourism and encouraged the people in my group to read them.
Great maps!
This book was extemely helpful for navigating in the Arusha/Moshi region. I used this book nonstop to identify hotels and animals on my safari. While I was on guided tours, I could follow right along with this guidebook-very helpful
better than lonely planet
I read this as well as the lonely planet guide. between the two, the bradt guide provides more details about lodging, places, etc. and is much better than the lonely planet guide
