Sharp Looking and Good Value
I've owned this watch, in gold plated, for 3 years. I replaced the inexpensive leather band which will fray very quickly with a Rolex styled metal band. This made the watch look very classy and expensive. I receive many compliments on this watch. It keeps great time but must be wound every morning and night The sapphire crystal which is not anti-reflective has never scratched and the gold plated case looks new. This watch is often promoted in the low $80's and I consider it a good value at $100. For this particular watch, my preference is gold finish.
A nice looking watch with a design flaw
This watch is called "water resistant", but in fact not "moisture resistant"
Let me explain why it becomes a critical issue.
Lacking a crown on the screw, moisture can get inside eventually, and heated up when you wear the watch, since the back is made of glass. In the cold weather, moisture will condense into water on the front glass and make it cloudy.
Other watches with glass back may also have moisture inside, however, a dial made of metal or plastic will let vapor condense first before it reaches the front glass. This watch lacks a dial in the center, where most cloud shows up.
This happens to me after living in the east coast for 4 years. So, consider your local climate before placing the order.
