This is kinda tricky...on my 15" MBP, I have 2 USB ports and 1 FW 400. To use this, I would have to use 1 FW Port (for my external HD, because I would NEVER write music to my OS drive, as described in detail by Digidesign), and both USB ports (1 for the MBox 2 Micro, and 1 for the iLok key). BUT, only for the startup of the session, do you need to use your iLok key.

The AXIOM 25 is of course smaller, and more suited for a "portable rig", but I wanted this one instead. The size of my portable foot print really wasn't TOO important. If space was at a premium, I would have gone for the 25.
