The Best 50 Banana Recipes explores the possibilities of a food we eat so much, we don’t even think about it.
Bananas are an almost perfect food: A large, ripe banana contains only about 100 calories; is very low in sodium, high in potassium and fiber, and a good source of Vitamins A, B6 and folic acid; is often the first solid food offered to infants; and is one of the last solid foods managed by the aged. Bananas are easy to digest and great for hypoallergenic diets.
In short — bananas are an almost perfect food! Here are 50 great banana recipes including breakfasts, shakes, sandwiches, main dishes and desserts.

Customer Reviews
OK, but overpriced
I bought a number of cookbooks from this series at one time, and while they are a nice resource, I think they are overpriced. Possibly I'm spoiled, but I like my cookbooks to have pictures of each recipe. For 50 recipes with neither pictures nor nutritional information, IMHO, $1.50 would be a better price than $5.95. I expected more for my money.
