Better try it out when you get it...
Got this when I bought my P2055dn from an Amazon retailer. Didn't open it. When the cart that came w/ printer died, put this in and it was DEFECTIVE. The retailer said "Sorry Charlie- 30 days to return bad stuff." Called HP and they are sending a replacement. I LOVE HP..... WHAT A WONDERFUL COMPANY THAT BACKS UP WHAT THEY SELL. I have been and HP customer for more than 35 years. Excellent Company.
However, if you get this cart, and plan to use it 'later" make sure you figure out it works.

Best Bang for the Buck
If you have a compatible printer such as the P2055 then this cartrige from HP is the most cost effective compared to the 05A. For business users I would think this cartridge is a no brainer. I've not used it enough to say whether there are any issues or limitations of using this cartridge.

Not Good
Purchased two of these from J&R Music and Computer World via Amazon. Opened one - didn't work. Two emails requesting return authorization remain unanswered. Very poor service from J&R Music and Computer World
