Clip rips off
The belt clip ripped off mine. I bought this new when the 3G came out. This is what they have to say:
Thank you for contacting DLO.

iphone case
The case is very good. It is stylish, functional and realistic. My only concern is that one of the sides on the inside should be padded or softer to protect the face of the iphone. Also you have to take the phone out of the case to make a call. Apart from that, it's great. I like it
Almost but not quite...
I don't usually complain much but after reading some of these reviews, I felt compelled to add my 2 cents worth. I purchased this at the local AT&T store with my new iPhone 3G. I liked how it appeared well made with nice lines and metal clip. I also felt better having the velcro rather than a magnetic clasp being concerned with magnetic fields unknowingly screwing something up (Gee, my debit card worked fine this morning...). That being said, my clip fell off after only a couple weeks of use. I found that clipped to the right side of my belt placed this holster right where I could catch it on just about anything I might brush up against. Wearing a coat, this is not much of a problem. Coat-less jumping up from a desk chair with arms on it tends to clip the holster. It didn't take long before the fine metal clip was on the belt and the holster with iPhone was on the floor. Bummer. And I'm a trim guy. I have tried to re-attach it a few times with different glues but no luck so far. A pop rivet in the design would fix this no problem. The case is snug initially on the phone but loosens up over time somewhat. Still tough to get out before it kicks over to voice mail. And better alignment of the leather pieces would allow for use of earphones in any position. My holster only allows plugging in with headphones in one position, opposite of where one instinctively returns it utilizing the device right handed. Fiddle with one and you'll see what I mean. Unless production consistency varies. I am going to try another brand. This looks good but doesn't execute as it should. Other posters' Customer Svc issues don't surprise me. When was the last time a CS dept was nice to you unless you were volunteering sending money to them???
