Expensive, but does a great job at reducing/eliminating odors.
The charcoal filters are very effective at removing odors. Mine lasted me several years before I had to replace them (I have 4 units in my house). It's easy to tell when the charcoal has become saturated; the house starts to smell.

We just replaced our charcoal filters. Today I served home-made pesto with lots of garlic. I love pesto before I eat but afterwards, I can't stand the odor. With the two units running downstairs, the smell disappeared within a few minutes.

If you smoke, leave the doors open, use chemicals, do fry cooking or bake foods with oil/grease then the charcoal will saturate faster.

These filters are expensive, but odors turn my stomach so for me they're worth it.

V5 IQ air filter
The price is the same as what I would have paid at my local supplier but I saved on not having to drive 1 hour each way to pick the item up. The product is the geniune article, just what I wanted. It came fast and in good condition. Will definately order again.
