What could be more appealing to Mensa members—or anyone who enjoys a good challenge—than a cunning test of intelligence and logic? That’s exactly what these 250 puzzles provide. The trick to kakuro is in making it all add up: the game begins with a grid that looks like a crossword, except that some squares contain small numbers in the corner. Fill in all the empty boxes using the numbers 1 to 9 without repeats so that the sum of each horizontal set of digits equals the number in the black triangle to its left, and the sum of each vertical set of digits equals the number in the triangle above it. The kakuro puzzles start out simple…and get more difficult as the book progresses.

this sucks1
i ordered my book and i waited almost 3 weeks for the mensa kakuro book and i still have not recieved my book. I am very upset and dissatisfied with my service. i was able to receive the other book i purchased at the same time, but recieved the book a week later.

This is an excellent book if you're up to the challenge. The puzzles are time consuming from the first to last. I used to go through the regular books like water in a desert, but these take time, so the book lasts longer, AND gives more enjoyment! I'm waiting for Vol 2 now!

Book with 250 puzzles not ranked by difficulty level but pick up complexity after #6 and become very difficult at the end. Limited list of unique sums and good introduction. Best for the advanced puzzler.
