Written in everyday language so even I could understand.
I am still reading this book and am amazed at the insight and practical help it offers. I wish I knew about this book several months ago. Drs. Smalley don't pull any punches about what is right and they also show a compassionate understanding of the heart wrenching mess one's marriage can become. This is definitely a book that I will need to read many times and put into practice the suggestions they offer. Truly, change has to come from within and however our spouse chooses to respond is out of our control. We can only change the things we have control over and have to trust God with the rest. That is a hard concept to understand in our society.

Very, very practical
The courageous stories of women in this book inspired me to read it in one sitting! It takes a lot of courage to "win your husband back" because I believe it was too late for us! This book offers the "hope" you need to not give up! Life is hard enough with all it's challenges but this book really gave me hands on ideas that work!

This book offers a Faith centered approach to winning your husband back, by first looking to yourself and the Lord for change. It offers support, suggestions to reach your husband, and hope for your future, with or without him. I would recommend this book to anyone whose been left by their spouse or just feels the distance.
