Product Description
Linguine, a close relative of Fettuccine, is made from long, flat strands of pasta, but is thinner and narrower. Linguine, which means little tongues in Italian, originated in the Liguria region of Italy. Throughout this area, the air is fragrant with salty ocean breezes and the aroma of delicious food cooking. The local tratorrie there are sure to feature a savory pasta meal of Linguine with a traditional Pesto all Genovese sauce, made from fresh local basil, pine nuts, Pecorino cheese, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and garlic.

Cheap and Versatile
I've been eating a lot of soup lately. I like to break this into small peices and throw it into my soup, a little goes a long way.
If you like a lot of noodle in the soup, it's inexpensive to use a little of this.
Makes good noodles.
Great pasta!
I have used a whole variety of linguine over time. But this is one of the better exemplars. 9 minutes and al dente. Great!
I married into an Italian family and have been entrusted with preparing the family "gravy" recipe most Sundays. A little spaghetti sauce, a little marinara sauce, tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, garlic, Italian seasoning, a bit of red wine. Fry up meatballs or pork and add them to the mix. Blend all ingedients together, cook over very low heat for a while.
Then, serve the "gravy" over the Barilla linguine. Yummy! And, better still, you can use this for one or more dinners during the week! Barilla is well worth looking at if you want some good pasta!
